THIS IS A JOKE RIGHT?
RIGHT?
RIGHT?

13 year old Jonathan Toews was paying enough attention to how 13 year old Patrick Kane dressed that he can still tell you what went down over a decade later.
I’m just going to leave that thought there.

…remembers that he put his bag down and “slowly” put on his gear. How many new guys must you have met and played with over the years, Jonathan Toews? And the first time you met Patrick Kane is a vivid memory for you.

He walked into the room, all quiet confidence. I could feel my heart stop beating, just for a second, then start again. When it restarted, it was in time with the flip-flop of his sports sandals: ba-bump. flip-flop.
I thought I’d die watching him slowly put his gear on. Was I staring? Was it weird? I forced myself to look away, but kept being drawn back into his irresistable orbit.
So this was Patrick Kane. He was smaller than I thought he’d be.

"We live in a world where losing your phone is more dramatic than losing your virginity"

Um ok but I don’t recall my virginity having 16 GB of memory with all my contacts, music, photos, calendars, and apps or costing over $200.

my phone is an expensive and important material object and not a useless social construct put in place to shame and commodify women

Plus I remember where I lost my virginity.
